Uh.. that's why in Eastern Europe, apart from the war murmurs, fake news from one side to the other, info overload etc., in Poland in particular, and clearly in the Czech Republic (her country of origin), they are crazy about this 19-year-old. Musical taste in spades that has allowed her to connect with high-profile producers (Matt Schwartz, Chris Lord-Alge), Karin gifts us this EP, 8 tracks that are 8 little jewels of post-modern pop where club culture, rock, and punk enter the scene. Rock and punk attitude dominate in the deadly “lookin al porn”, a killer pop song that alone is worth the whole album, and it's an explosion of power pop and a synthesis of what it means to feel like a teenager today, 2022, in the midst of the mountain of shit and lies of this shapeless magma that is the world. But Karin, smart as she is, knows everything. She knows what it means to feel marginalized, bullied. And she expresses it with delicacy, or anger, or desperation. People probably sense Karin's purity. And so, beyond the music, always well crafted, beyond the killer choruses, they listen to her.
