LA RECENSIONE

I just realized there wasn't a review for this album. I absolutely have to write one then!
I pop the CD into the player, sit down, relax for a moment, close my eyes and...

Poetry. Pure Poetry with a capital "P". Emotions glide between the black and white keys of the piano, all the notes seem to be part of a celestial diadem, meant to compose the musical sublimation of a sentiment.

I let the music carry me away to unknown landscapes, in a dream that is indescribable. As indescribable as this album, born from the will to do charity for the victims of the mythical September 11. I must admit that, put like this, it would make me raise an eyebrow. A praiseworthy yet perhaps hypocritical initiative. But when the notes slip away like this, how can one not melt?

Music played with instruments, yes, piano and synthesizer, but above all Music played with the heart. So much heart. Which, in my opinion, is what Music should be, after all. I was truly amazed by this album, which mixes every pearl of life lived by each of us, you find yourself a little immersed in these 60 minutes of notes, never redundant or filler.
You come out of the album as you would from a great movie, with teary eyes and a goofy smile on your face, not knowing why. Actually, you do know why, but in the last hour of listening you were too busy following an emotion. Truly an excellent instrumental album. and please, forget about who Rudess is.

Simply listen. And Be Amazed, in the face of Music.
