Jefferson Starship is an American rock band formed in 1974 by members of Jefferson Airplane. Blending psychedelic roots with AOR and arena rock, the group earned major success with Red Octopus and the hit Miracles, later scoring with Jane and other singles. The band’s activity spans 1974–1984 and 1992–present.
