James Last

James Last was a German bandleader, arranger and composer who led the James Last Orchestra and popularized an easy-listening orchestral style worldwide. Active from the early 1960s until 2015, he sold over 100 million records and became synonymous with accessible arrangements of popular and classical themes. His recording of The Lonely Shepherd gained renewed fame through its use in cinema.
