First review... don't be harsh.
Something new is also moving in Italy, something new that draws inspiration from the past, once innovative.
I'm talking about "Io, Carlo" who is this guy that impressed me so much with the first two songs of the album "In Perenne Riserva"? Even the title intrigues me, as I mentioned, two beautiful songs that immediately stick in your head, either for the simplicity of the music or for the intricate lyrics in a Battiato's '80s style, finally a new singer who also includes that social criticism in his songs that is always welcome. I like the chorus "I’m not interested in shopping tips I enjoy listening to my records I’m not interested in spending points it's been years since I last went to church."
Two songs waiting for the album, two beautiful and interesting songs - "L'Ego" captivating and simple in its words, makes you think about the stupidity of consumerism and the rebellion of the individual against the false myth of image—not by chance, the video of the song is simple and stripped to the bone. Moving then to the second song, "L'Uoccidentale", one can glimpse the Battiato of "La Voce Del Padrone," a critique of the pace of people's lives and the homogenization in modern life...
Well, what can I say, personally it struck me positively we await the rest.

We dance, we dance continuing to show ourselves for what we are not!
The earth needs wiser minds focused on the future and less wild.
