Fabrizio Bentivoglio was born as an actor, many will associate him with the father in "Ricordati di me," but few know that he is also an excellent musician...

This album came to life thanks to the collaboration with the "Quintetto di Musicanormale," although behind the project lie the Avion Travel (who lent instrumentalists and their own songs).
All the tracks are played in a sparse manner, without effects or overdubs, music in its purest form. The songs narrate surreal events with rather bizarre settings: the Yugoslavia of "Tipota," the 1930s America of "La pupa del gangster," the opera music environment of "Zagolin."
In the end, however, what predominates are the feelings, with songs like "Se fossi nato a Napoli," "Bouquet," and "Periodi caldi."

The variety of styles included in this album is impressive: it ranges from jazz to singer-songwriter tunes in the style of De André, from ballads belonging to Avion Travel to the typical style of Vinicio Capossela, concluding with a touch of Blues.

This will probably be Fabrizio Bentivoglio's only album, and moreover, it is a rare find, so I believe that for those interested, it will be truly difficult to become passionate about this artist from a musical standpoint and not just a cinematic one. However, I assure you that the album is worth the purchase...
