Ike Quebec

Ike Quebec (Ike Abrams Quebec, 1918–1963) was an American tenor saxophonist from Newark, New Jersey. Emerging in the 1940s swing-to-bop era, he later worked with Blue Note and staged an early-1960s comeback with blues- and soul-inflected sessions such as Heavy Soul, Blue & Sentimental, It Might as Well Be Spring, and Soul Samba.
