 The real enjoyment, however, comes with “Noah’s Dream,” the long suite at the end of the album that deftly alternates the elements that make the sound of the Heavens too cool.

 To give you a rough idea of the sound, I could tell you it’s a sort of blend of AOR and power metal that creates a rather original precipitate.

Heavens Gate are a German heavy/power metal band active from 1987 to 1999, originally formed as Steeltower. They gained early traction in Japan and helped shape European power metal with albums like In Control and Livin’ in Hysteria.
