Happy the Man

Happy the Man is an American progressive rock group from the Washington, D.C. area, formed in the mid-1970s. Largely instrumental, the band is known for intricate compositions and top-tier musicianship by Kit Watkins, Stanley Whitaker, and Frank Wyatt. They released Happy the Man (1977) and Crafty Hands (1978, produced by Ken Scott), and later reunited for The Muse Awakens (2004). Their name was inspired by a Genesis song.
