The only worthy and twisted heirs of Carcass; they come to life (or death) in the early nineties in Spain, on the outskirts of the capital, Madrid. "Apology for Pathology" is their fifth album, released in 2006.

A bloodied cross on an immaculate white background: this is how the grim cover of the short album presents itself. Just over thirty minutes, divided into fourteen tracks completely immersed in Goregrind-Death sounds of simply unheard-of and devastating power. An album that situates itself halfway between "Symphonies of Sickness" and "Necroticism - Descanting the..." of the aforementioned Carcass. Everything refers to the English band: song titles and splatter-gore lyrics; vocal setup; extremely violent, disturbing, and unhealthy sounds. Production and recordings worthy of this name; and how damn good do they play!!!

Lugubrious's voice seems to vomit intestines, so dense is it with cynical depravity; the two guitars of Luisma and Ana create an abrasive, dissonant wall. Add to this Rojas's crushing drums almost always in "double bass" and Ramon’s bass: a sort of purulent ulcer that pierces and wounds the eardrums.

An album terribly consistent in its flow; with the sonic apotheosis reached in the penultimate track "Syndicate of Sickness" (something once again reminds me of Carcass). Three minutes of cynical oblivion; an infernal torrent that evokes mud and malaise. It's easy, very easy to imagine the topics covered in the relentless lyrics.

There is also a hidden track at the conclusion: Haemorrhage pay tribute in their own way to "Satanachist" by the evil Venom.

A separate chapter would be deserved for their videos and concerts: I recommend to those interested to watch (with all the necessary precautions)... SADISTIK EXECUTION...
