LA RECENSIONE

A month after its release, it's time to review "Sinatra" by Gue Pequeno, which was supposed to be Cosimo Fini's grand return after that masterpiece "Gentleman," and instead, it's just the unpleasant recurrence of bronchopneumonia. The first song is called "Hugh Guefner," so we'll skip it, even though it overshadows all the reactionary trash I see circulating around here. In the launch single, Gue and Capo Plaza tell us "tu chiamami sul Trap Phone / per qualunque cosa," probably to deceive us with that disappointing supercazzola of a track they tried to put together; we decline the offer and try to move on.

I moved on, and I'll spare you the journey step by step, also because there are about 7-8 good things to clear your nostrils (oddly including the one with Sfera). The last two, at least, are blurred mirages of musical stuff: "Modalità Aereo" is saved in the corner thanks to Luchè's attack, although it's not so different from a knee to the kidneys. And then comes the excellent "Hotel," a sort of Milan skyline set to melody. Unfortunately, in the remaining tracks, we're not on the tallest skyscraper with the best view, but at the back of an electronic cigarette shop, with the rats crossing your path and the "a signature against drugs" booths cornering you. It's a pity because potentially Cosimo remains one of the best Italian artists of our time.

With this, I conclude. Is something missing? True, the tracklist:

1. Hugh Guefner
2. Trap Phone feat. Capo Plaza
3. Borsello feat. Sfera Ebbasta e DrefGold
4. 2% feat. Frah Quintale
5. Bling Bling (oro)
6. Claro feat. Tony Effe & Prynce
7. Bastardi senza gloria feat. Noyz Narcos
8. Bam Bam feat. Cosculluela & El Micha
9. Sobrio feat. Elodie
10. Babysitter
11. Modalità Aereo feat. Luchè & Marracash
12. Hotel

Summary by Bot

The review critiques Gue Pequeno's Sinatra album as a disappointing follow-up to his acclaimed Gentleman. Despite featuring notable artists and a few standout tracks like "Hotel" and "Modalità Aereo," much of the album fails to impress, likened unfavorably in tone to illness and clutter. The reviewer acknowledges Pequeno's talent but feels this project falls short.
