THE REVIEW

New band composed of Justin Broadrick (just to name a few: Napalm Death, Godflesh, Final, Techno Animal, Jesu, God, Ice, Curse Of The Golden Vampire, Head of David...), Aaron Turner (Isis), Dave Cochran, and Diarmuid Dalton (Jesu).

This is just a taste of what can be found on "Disconnected", released these days but not yet available to me.

However, it can be listened to on the group's official website.

Justin seems to be in a particularly bad mood lately, as seen in the title chosen for the album, and returns to focusing on heavy and claustrophobic sounds like those of the best Godflesh.

What might seem like a surprise is the second track, a sort of Dubstep-Industrial mantra, but if we think about Mr. Broadrick's past sound experiments, it is not so unexpected since he had already played around with dub-influenced sounds, and the fact that he has now arrived at Dubstep is just a sign of the times.

Summary by Bot

Greymachine’s 'Vultures Descend' showcases a powerful blend of heavy industrial riffs and experimental dubstep elements. Featuring Justin Broadrick and Aaron Turner, the 12" delivers a claustrophobic and intense atmosphere reminiscent of Broadrick's past works like Godflesh. The album hints at Broadrick’s shift toward current sounds while maintaining his signature heaviness. Although not fully released at the time, select tracks are available on the band’s website.
