George Antheil

George Antheil (1900–1959) was an American composer and pianist dubbed the “Bad Boy of Music,” noted for the avant‑garde Ballet Mécanique and later Hollywood film scores. With Hedy Lamarr he co‑invented frequency‑hopping spread spectrum (U.S. Patent 2,292,387, 1942).
