Gal Costa

Gal Costa (1945–2022) was a Brazilian singer from Salvador, Bahia, a leading voice of Tropicália and MPB who collaborated closely with Caetano Veloso and Gilberto Gil. Landmark releases include Gal (1969), Legal (1970), the live A Todo Vapor, and Índia (1973).
