Champions of craziness, with straightforward songs without beating around the bush, McLusky left an irreplaceable void when, in January 2005, they announced their breakup, unknowingly beginning the annus horribilis of my personal history.

From the ashes of McLusky arose quickly Shooting at Unarmed Men, the band of bassist Jon Chapple, but something was still missing... a particular drive. That "quid" is not missing with Future of the Left: Andy "Falco" Falkous on vocals and guitar, Kelson Louis Tregurtha Mathias - from the disbanded Jarcrew - on vocals and bass, Jack William Egglestone on drums.
Is three the perfect number or not?

Sly guitar riffs, lyrics on the verge of nonsense and a career still waiting to launch. They have only two 7" records to their name and a series of tracks they feature on their MySpace. The fake gravity of "Fingers Become Thumbs", the wild screams of "Lord Hates a Coward" and the charm of "The Fibre Provider"... catchy and cheeky melodies, never verbose. They arrive, bounce around you throwing razor-sharp guitar slashes and leave before you can figure out who or what hit you. 

Well, they were three crazy Welshmen, fool. And watch out, because they'll be back.
