This film I just finished watching does not reveal anything new to me in terms of cerebral degeneration, having dealt with my father-in-law, still alive, suffering from Alzheimer's (and now totally physically and mentally incapacitated after five years of slow and progressive unstoppable illness), and with my mother R.I.P., departed at 92 in April 2021 but with her mind still fairly lucid yet predictably close to senile decay, she herself half blind, half deaf, she continued to say to everyone for a couple of years: why, if there is a God, doesn't He take me away, what am I still doing here alive?

In the end she got her wish but unfortunately had to first go through the suffering caused by a couple of tumors that delivered the coup de grace and amen.

Anyway, not everyone becomes like Anthony, many reach death "beautiful", lucid and fully conscious.

Nevertheless, it's still a good film on the subject, and the soundtrack by the always talented Ludovico Einaudi accompanies it beautifully.
