I'm on a bed, I feel my heart beating, it's cold, it's dark, I have to escape, away, far away, faster, faster!!!
Calm, calm, I need to relax, breathe, yes, like this... what's that distant light...
Horror, horror, horror, HORRORRReeeee!!! (I faint).
Dreaming, I'm in faraway places, east? West? party, confusion, the sea, cold... still cold...
I wake up, noise, maybe a TV, or not? someone talking, I don't understand, I'm stunned, bells, near, more and more, more and more, I'm going crazyyyOOOooooOOOOoooo!!! (I faint).
Hands on me, fingering, touching me, I can't see, darkness, darkness, noise of irons, I'm scared...
why can't I see WHY!!! what is that noise, what? What? I feel stranggeee, everything spins... fast, fast, fast, even fasterEEEEeeee!!! (I faint).
Dreaming, I'm on an empty street, dark (it looks like Ulver's Perdition City). Cold, it's raining, it rains blood, red, everything is red, red. I enter a door. There is a garden, sand, wind, wind through the branches, a forest, it surrounds me, everything spins, everythiiiiiingOOOoooo. (I wake up).
Pain, suffering, everything burns, more PAIN!!! It hurts, it tears my skin, the skin!!!
I scream, I SCREAM, I don't recognize my voice, who is screaming?!? They tear my skin, I tear my skin, I can't feel my heart anymore, I can't feel my body, madness, madness!!! (I almost faint).
Now calm, I need to calm down, breathe, breathe, slowly, even more, yes, that's better, better...
AHHHHH!!! Screams. AHHHHHHH!!! Screams. AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I CAN'T BREATHE (I faint).
Dreaming, dreaming, dreaming, I want to stay here forever, in the dream, in a beautiful dream... what's happening?
I don't want to wake up, no, no, NO! DON'T WAKE ME UP!!! (I wake up).
Whistling, who is whistling? Melody, melody. Do I know it? I know it! But where, where, who is it!?
[end of the first half] [the lights turn back on] (I cut it short otherwise it turns out to be 2 pages of delirium)
This is "Delìrium Còrdia".
The finale?
Some say it's a great scam, all special effects and no substance... Others a true masterpiece, innovative, never seen before, pure avant-garde!
It's up to you to judge, I still haven't figured out if I was fooled or not...

It’s simply impossible, and my retreat to the most banal 'experimental' is nothing but a disguise for the elusiveness of this Delìrium Còrdia.
In the first twenty minutes, it really feels like being trapped in a Lynch or Cronenberg film.

Delìrium Còrdia suffered the same fate; instead proving to be an ambient album that is useless and pretentious.

Mike Patton... ah, what a character, huh? What is he, a genius? Maybe. A madman? Almost certainly yes.
This 'Delirium Còrdia' I wouldn’t even define as a musical album, I would rather describe it as a whim (annoying for that matter) that this capricious 'genius' wanted to indulge in.
