In 1993, before the global success marked by the classic Missing (and subsequent dance-themed remixes) and after respectable eighties endeavors, Everything But The Girl released this EP through their historic label Blanco Y Negro.

Information online is scarce despite every single and album being present on the duo's Wikipedia page regarding their discography.

It consists of four tracks of acoustic voice-guitar arrangements that showcase the Thorn and Watt's interpretative skill.

The cover of Simon & Garfunkel mentioned in the title is masterful in its simplicity (simplicity defines the greats many times), especially at the end of the famous refrain with the voices of the couple in unison.

Gabriel, Birds, and the torch song Horses In The Room are no less, finding strength in Tracey's expressiveness and sensitivity.

The following year, the collaboration in the splendid Protection with the Bristol duo and the aforementioned hit included in the album Amplified Heart will guarantee the two the deserved consecration.

But after all, they had already shown their mettle a decade earlier.
