Evan Parker

Evan Parker (born 1944, Bristol) is a British tenor and soprano saxophonist and a pivotal figure in free improvisation. Renowned for circular breathing and extended techniques, he has been active since the 1960s and appears on seminal recordings including Brötzmann’s Machine Gun (1968) and his own Monoceros (1978).
