American rock band formed in Las Vegas in 2004, known for emo, metalcore and post-hardcore releases.

Early releases include the 2006 EP There's No Sympathy for the Dead and the 2006 album Dying Is Your Latest Fashion. Original vocalist Ronnie Radke was involved in a 2006 incident and was later expelled; Craig Mabbitt became the band's singer for This War Is Ours (2008).

DeBaser hosts a handful of reviews of Escape the Fate focusing on their 2006 EP and albums through 2008. Reviews highlight solid metalcore/emo musicianship, catchy choruses and moments of melody, while also criticizing uneven songwriting. The site's coverage also documents the lineup change from Ronnie Radke to Craig Mabbitt and the band's move toward more melodic material on This War Is Ours.
