LA RECENSIONE

Written together with Luca Ragagnin, Elogio della sbronza consapevole. Vendemmia 2005/2006 is a truly delightful book. It's certainly not a masterpiece, but it's a very enjoyable read. It's a text that's hard to classify, but it offers pleasant moments to all those looking for a little snack (or, to stay on theme, a spritz) before delving into further readings on the subject. It's a well-curated anthology of quotes, excerpts, unassignable delusions, and more, concerning the drinking of anything alcoholic. All this is the result of boundless drinking and conscious reading.

Having said that, I dove into reading this book, and I can tell you it is highly recommended. It's curious, then, how the authors also drew quotes from Arab and Indian writers, poets, and philosophers, which gives the theme of drinking a unique twist. The only weak point is the preface by Bruno Gambarotta, whom those born in the Eighties like myself will remember for his television work. So............ I recommend you don’t miss out on this book!!

Summary by Bot

Enrico Remmert and Luca Ragagnin's book is an enjoyable and curious collection of quotes and reflections on conscious drinking. It includes perspectives from Arab and Indian writers and offers a pleasant reading experience, though the preface is seen as a weaker element. Highly recommended for readers seeking a light and cultured introduction to the theme of alcohol consumption.
