Two and a half stars for the new Adel Emeli Sandé. No, I'm not losing it, and I believe that not all contemporary R'n'B is failing: Erykah Badu, one of the idols of the Anglo-Zambian, is a well-founded example.
The love for the Bemba roots in Emeli has had a good effect on the continuation of her career: many pointed to her as a "Black Shooting Star" without much compliment. But, strictly avoiding the tracks where Naughty Boy and a similar one named Electronica [which I heard and then judged], the theme of accepting the "unavoidable" course of events is [the opening track and another 6-7 tracks] complaisant with that of loving those we care about, having to highlight the high holding of Highs\Lows and Every single Little Piece - those who are interested can easily search and find them on I-tunes - as well as the choral and distant from certain feminine-coldplayish, Tenderly. One, however, differs from the others: Breathing Underwater. We don't stop at a mentioned name to judge a piece, however, and we see that it's an easy soulful catch and soft as you like , for the melody, and instead has lyrics dedicated to the Creator, which, as it reads, even meters below the water surface [the one you want, note] is remembered by the believer regardless in the silhouette of trees, stars, moons, and slices of the sky. And we could draw a parallel with our own good deeds we have done for those we care about...while "today is jealous towards tomorrow, and, acting rationally, towards the chimera of Good one is never satisfied"
