Elias Canetti

Elias Canetti (1905–1994) was a Bulgarian-born author who wrote the novel Autodafé and the autobiographical The Tongue Set Free; he also authored the essay Masse und Macht (Crowds and Power). He won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1981.
