Keyboards and drums are the strengths of this album and the band, also because in the mixing they are at a much higher volume than the guitars and the bass which, as usual, you can’t hear even as a joke.

This is the real weakness of the group: the voice, I don’t like it at all... it would have been a markedly better CD with a different singer.

Age of Silence's 'Acceleration' is a side project led by Hellhammer that merges avant-garde and progressive metal. The album shines with strong keyboard and drum performances, though guitars and bass are mixed low. Vocals are seen as the album's weakness, lacking appeal according to the reviewer. A standout acoustic track offers a different flavor. Overall, it's a promising debut that could improve with a different singer. Discover the unique fusion of avant-garde and progressive metal in Age of Silence's 'Acceleration'—listen now and decide for yourself!

"The intro piano forte of the title track is really beautiful, but the rest of the song is frankly bland."

"My Kantele (Acoustic Reprise): beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, I never tire of listening to it thanks to the lovely dreamlike atmosphere created by the organ and accordion."

Amorphis' Elegy marks a key shift with Pasi Koskinen bringing clean vocals alongside growls, inspired by the Finnish epic Kanteletar. The album features atmospheric keyboards and a mix of slow, doom, and faster songs, balancing instrumental passages with vocal variety. While some tracks excel, certain instrumental-heavy sections and vocals received mixed feelings, resulting in an overall good but not great rating. Listen to Amorphis' Elegy and discover the blend of epic Finnish tales with rich vocals and atmospheric metal.

It would deserve a 3 but I give it a 4 because it would be great to reach 60 years old and still make albums like these.

Trigger, one of the pearls of this album, further embellished by a really nice chorus; it’s the classic Motorhead high-energy song.

The review praises Motorhead's album Kiss Of Death as a solid hard rock record with Lemmy Kilmister still delivering strong performances at age 61. While not as impressive as their previous album Inferno, standout tracks like 'Trigger' and 'Sword Of Glory' highlight the band's enduring energy and heavy riffs. Some tracks received mixed feelings but overall, the album meets expectations for Motorhead fans. Explore Motorhead's gritty energy and timeless rock riffs in Kiss Of Death—listen now and experience Lemmy’s enduring legacy!

A very good album that I really like for the aggressiveness of the sounds and the extensive use of electronics in the songs.

The very poor mixing makes the singer’s voice, which is not bad at all, almost drowned out by the instruments.

American Head Charge's debut album Trepanation delivers raw and aggressive industrial metal with inventive electronic samples. While the album's mixing lessens vocal clarity and some tracks feel stretched, standout songs highlight the band's energy and creativity. Despite technical simplicity and production flaws, the album remains an enjoyable listen worthy of inclusion in a metal collection. Listen to American Head Charge's Trepanation and experience raw industrial metal energy with inventive electronic sounds!

It is the band’s best album because it provides an impressive charge and therefore is not ideal to listen to when stuck in traffic.

An excellent ear-splitting CD with very heavy but not very fast riffs, but which nevertheless make me headbang like crazy.

The review praises Slipknot's 2001 album Iowa as the band's heaviest and best work. It highlights the aggressive vocals, powerful drumming, and heavy riffs that define the album's intense sound. Particular tracks like 'People=Shit' and 'Disasterpieces' are noted for their energy and complexity. The album moves away from nu-metal influences, embracing more death metal elements, resulting in a masterpiece beloved by fans. The reviewer considers it Slipknot's ultimate achievement. Dive into Slipknot's Iowa and experience one of metal's heaviest, most powerful albums—listen now!
