A good work, not on par with other memorable debuts like those of Conte, De André, De Gregori, and Jannacci, but with easy listening.

Some ideas will be more fully developed in Modì, considered by some to be his best album.

Vinicio Capossela’s debut album at age 25 offers interesting moments and quality arrangements but falls short of excellence. The album shows strong Sergio Caputo influences and presents a mix of swing, ballads, and urban melancholy. While some tracks stand out, others feel predictable or mediocre. It is a solid start, though not as memorable as debuts by other Italian singer-songwriters. Future works would develop Capossela's potential further. Discover Vinicio Capossela’s unique debut and hear how his style evolved in later albums.
