For lovers of early technical thrash metal, this EP is an incredible delight: same lineup as Control and Resistance, same verve, same themes, same pyrotechnic guitar work.

From the first song to the last, Mathematica Calculis, the EP proceeds without ever boring, without weak moments, managing to keep attention high on the sophisticated harmonies and melodies.

Watchtower's long-awaited EP 'Concepts Of Math: Book One' marks a triumphant return to technical thrash metal. Featuring the classic lineup and modern production, the album preserves the band's signature intricate musicianship. Lyrics explore nerdy scientific themes, maintaining high engagement throughout. Fans of technical metal will find this release a delightful continuation of their 1989 legacy. Explore Watchtower's intricate thrash metal revival—listen to 'Concepts Of Math: Book One' today!

An Irish folk tinged with red, with a combination that made a big impact at the end-of-the-decade Unity parties of the late ’80s and early ’90s.

Alberto Morselli’s voice has a lot of personality, and let’s say that in MCR it fits better compared to Stefano Bellotti’s, which is more playful and immature.

Modena City Ramblers' debut tape 'Combat Folk' combines two originals and five covers with an Irish folk influence tinged by Italian political themes. The album evokes nostalgia for the late 1980s and early 1990s. Vocal styles vary between band members Alberto Morselli and Stefano Bellotti, with Morselli's voice being particularly fitting. The folk and political blend stands out, although the band's later work moves away from this Irish soul. Listen to Modena City Ramblers' Combat Folk to experience a unique blend of Irish folk and Italian political spirit!

It is not among my favorites, and I am only reviewing it because the band is very well known in the area.

Their merit is not purely musical... but only 'historical' since they have never taken breaks from concerts and over twenty years have already released five albums.

This review examines Hobbit's album 'Per La Contea,' recognizing it as their best work despite mixed musical content. The band, active since the 1990s, frequently draws on Tolkien themes but often produces filler tracks. The album features a cleaner guitar sound reminiscent of Hendrix and elements close to Ligabue's style. Certain songs like 'Radio 25 Aprile' and 'Notti' stand out, though the review finds the overall musical and lyrical ideas repetitive and unremarkable. Discover Hobbit's unique alternative rock sound and explore the album 'Per La Contea' to form your own opinion.

It is the first gem of alternative music and unique in its genre.

Mario Bortoluzzi’s voice is calm, soft, and tenor-like... among the most recognizable in all of alternative music.

Terra di Thule by Compagnia dell'Anello is a rare 1983 folk/Celtic album with progressive influences. It stands out for its professional production and inspired lyrics rooted in medieval and neofascist traditions. The blend of piano, synthesizers, guitar, and distinct vocals offers a unique sound that remains influential in Italian alternative music. Its rarity and thematic storytelling make it a must-have for fans of '70s Italian progressive music. Listen to Compagnia dell'Anello's rare folk masterpiece and explore unique Italian progressive sounds from the 1980s!

The emotion of listening to it again after 12 years was indescribable.

I’ve made this album my own and keep it as dear as other albums from the era of giants like Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple.

This review celebrates the 1972 folk rock album by Heads, Hands & Feet, highlighting Albert Lee's pristine guitar skills and standout tracks like "Road Show" and "Hot Property." The reviewer expresses nostalgic joy rediscovering this rare classic, comparing it favorably to giants like Led Zeppelin. The album's mixture of country and folk influences sets it apart in the rock scene of its time. Explore the timeless folk rock sounds of Heads, Hands & Feet and rediscover classic 70s guitar mastery today!

The sound is dark, monolithic, with an excellent rhythmic part from the bass and percussion.

Incantesimi d’Amore is what I consider the masterpiece of the album, slow, sweet, and magical.

270bis's Incantesimi D’Amore is an underrated Italian alternative album with a dark, monolithic sound and artistic depth. The album features a blend of raw guitars, rhythmic bass, and evocative lyrics inspired by historical and emotional themes. Standout tracks include the oriental-influenced title song and the anthem to the Templars. Though difficult to grasp at first, repeated listens reveal its growing appeal. Listen to 270bis’s Incantesimi D’Amore and dive into Italy’s dark alternative music scene today!
