There are no unnecessary tracks, I must say I quite liked this work.

The album would have been even better by nipping a few minutes here and there, for instance on the rather boring 'Trading My Soul.'

The reviewer finds The Flower Kings' The Sum Of No Evil an improvement over recent releases, praising the return of drummer Zoltan Csörsz and tighter track selection. While the album remains heavily influenced by Yes and offers familiar prog rock elements, skilled musicianship makes it enjoyable despite predictability. Some vocal parts are seen as less compelling, but overall it's considered the band's best effort in years. Discover the intricate prog craftsmanship of The Flower Kings in The Sum Of No Evil—listen now and explore their best work in years!

We are in the presence of a noteworthy CD that features Crossover Prog, furiously yet coherently hopping from aggressive, syncopated Jazz-Rock to the more relaxed listening of fusion and grand keyboard arrangements closer to symphonic prog.

I recommend purchasing this album without hesitation, not only to those who loved the first work but to all lovers of prog and fusion.

Karcius' 'Kaleidoscope' album impresses with its modern style and intricate performance. The band blends aggressive jazz-rock with symphonic prog, creating a unique and engaging experience. Highlights include a 25-minute multi-part track exhibiting impressive orchestration and virtuosity. Recommended for progressive and fusion music fans alike. Dive into 'Kaleidoscope' and experience Karcius' thrilling prog fusion sound today!

"This new 'Systematic Chaos,' unlike the notable and, progressively speaking, good 'Octavarium,' has no more prog and has turned almost completely towards a modern Metal, heavy and difficult to listen to."

"Everyone is off-key and, considering their great technical abilities, it is truly a shame."

The review examines Dream Theater's 2007 album Systematic Chaos, criticizing its significant move away from progressive rock toward a heavier modern metal sound. The reviewer laments the loss of the band's earlier progressive qualities and finds the album difficult to enjoy. Technical performances, particularly from Portnoy and LaBrie, are seen as below their potential. Only a few tracks receive mild praise, with the overall verdict being strongly negative. Discover why Dream Theater's Systematic Chaos divides prog fans—listen and judge this bold metal shift yourself.
