"A beautiful creation, where guitar interplays leave room for the use of electronics, and as they tell me after the show, to 'break the barriers of post rock.'"

Until that moment, I thought the sweatiest man in the world was Henry Rollins. I was wrong. In the end, Jon Steiner, thoroughly exhausted, looks like he just stepped out of a pool.

This review highlights Battles' innovative live performance at Jail Legnano, emphasizing their fusion of post-rock and electronic sounds. The band's complex drumming and instrumental compositions break traditional post-rock boundaries. The concert was described as engaging and powerful, showcasing the group's precise and rehearsed approach. Jon Steiner's energetic drumming stood out as a memorable part of the show. Experience Battles' groundbreaking post-rock fusion—listen to their live EP and discover their dynamic sound today!

The booklet alone justifies the cost of the CD.

We certainly remain within the range of full sufficiency, but '10000 Days' does not represent, at the moment, their most elevated expressive and artistic endeavor.

Tool's 10000 Days album arrives after a long 5-year wait, showcasing complex progressive rock with ambient and psychedelic touches. The packaging is praised, but the music is seen as overly technical and self-indulgent at times. While some tracks like 'Vicarious' and 'Jambi' remain strong, others stretch too long without strong highlights. Overall, the album satisfies but fails to surpass previous artistic achievements. Read our full review and listen to Tool's 10000 Days to decide if it lives up to the hype.
