György Ligeti - Lontano Ligeti was a unique composer: he became fully part of the 20th-century musical avant-garde, renounced the Darmstadt school (and its mafia), and during the same years managed to create his own voice and carry out his experiments, successfully crafting stunning compositions that were applauded even by those who were not fond of the avant-garde. A true Giant.

Iannis Xenakis _ "Jonchaies" for 109 musicians (1977) Xenakis’s orchestral music (as well as the rest of his work, to be honest) has an incredible charm.

Michael Tippett: Praeludium for brass, bells and percussion (1962) For the series: "great composers, but less known"

Ruggles - Sun Treader One of the most important pieces of modern American music. Ruggles was an over-the-top character: self-taught, he composed very little, but that little is of great quality.

Van Halen - Jump A prelude to The Final Countdown

Goffredo Petrassi: Partita per orchestra (1932) The Petrassi of the first period, magnificent

Dinah Washington - Cry Me A River One of the many wonderful black ladies of the microphone

Carlos Chávez: Sinfonia No.2, "Sinfonía India" (1935/1936) A symphonic classic from the 20th century, it is always wonderful.
