Doldrums - Late 70's Blue Box the slow "climax," very controlled yet looming (like a tsunami without rogue waves), that starts from the 2/3 mark of the piece is of sublime class, (and it is my undisputed reference when I find myself in post-rock jams)
 
Julia Holter - Chaitius is an outstanding album, unmatched in my knowledge (and preferences) over the last 20 years. Harmonious, elegant, whimsical, inextricable.

La Nòvia is a supergroup of French guys who play traditional folk music (beyond the clear à la chansonnier French style, I hear Celtic and Tibetan influences) heavily influenced by minimalism (LaMonte Young, Terry Riley). Since the beginning of the second decade of the 2000s, they have been releasing albums under various “offshoot” group names of the supergroup.
