Litfiba - Il mio corpo che cambia (1999) al PIM
#ohsignur
MY-GOD. Literally one of the most chilling things I've ever heard in 44 years, 10 months, and 1 day of life, that initial whistling then... straight out of a horror movie.
Unwatchable.
P.s @[Alemarcon] was this the video you were talking about yesterday? I did a "search" out of curiosity...

Litfiba - Prima guardia
Well, and after this I say: are we really, really sure that these are the same ones who just six years later wrote "secsi druiiiim mi fa volareeeeee"?

Loghi, suonerie, gattini e trash
But the real question is: has anyone ever had the courage to send a text to 48248?

Picking up on the brilliant idea of @[Alemarcon] to revisit the brilliant idea of @[Martello], I take the liberty to make, as an additional kick in the... ehm, preview of the columns that will start in a week, a ranking of the worst albums by Pino Daniele (from 1995 to 2009, excluding "Medina" from 2001) from the least unbearable to the pinnacle of absolute diarrhea.

N°1: "Passi d'autore" (2004)
There it is, the cherry on top of the shit cake. The most foul-smelling pile of crap ever. After a nearly dignified "Medina," we had once again hoped for a possible artistic rebirth, but then this new abomination brought everything back to square one. An album with a grandiloquent title, even the name changes to "Pino Daniele Project," but in the end, it turned out to be a pseudo-engaged, pseudo-jazz, utterly tedious collection, with 14 songs ALL THE SAME. Even more pathetic than Gelatone, where at least the basic idea was a pop without too many pretensions.

The masterpiece of the album: Dammi Una Seconda Vita

Picking up the brilliant idea from @[Alemarcon] to reprise the brilliant idea of @[Martello], I would like to make, as an additional kick in the balls... uh, I mean a preview of the columns that will start in a week, a ranking of the worst albums by Pino Daniele (from 1995 to 2009, excluding "Medina" from 2001) from the least unbearable to the peak of absolute diarrhea.

No. 2: "Come un gelato all'equatore" (1999)
Here we are at the end of the century! And the silver medal goes to the Gelatone. A truly repulsive album, from every perspective... and while the two previous ones at least had worthy musical bases, here THERE IS NOT EVEN THAT! The album is based on the form of a love song for 13-year-olds dealing with their first crush; it almost seems like Pino is trying to steal very young fans from Nek and Ramazzotti to take them for himself. And let’s remember that this is the same person who just six years prior had written "Sicily"...

The masterpiece of the album: Neve al sole (2017 Remaster)

Picking up the brilliant idea from @[Alemarcon], who picked up the brilliant idea from @[Martello], I take the liberty to make, as an additional kick in the balls...uhm, a preview of the columns that will start in a week, a ranking of the worst albums by Pino Daniele (from 1995 to 2009, excluding "Medina" from 2001) from the least unbearable to the peak of absolute diarrhea.

N°3: "Iguana cafè" (2005)
And here we are, reaching the podium! The bronze medal goes to this piece of junk. A year after the last studio work (during which he had already changed his "name" from Pino Daniele to Pino Daniele Project), here comes yet another "experiment," yet another shitty disc labeled as high-level music: you can tell already from the album's second name, that is, "Latin blues e melodie." I don’t know about you, but this crap doesn’t seem to have either Latin or blues...

The masterpiece of the album: Pino Daniele - Occhi Che Sanno Parlare

Picking up on the brilliant idea of @[Alemarcon] to revive the brilliant idea of @[Martello], I take the liberty of making, as an additional kick in the... ehm, preview of the columns that will start in a week, a ranking of the worst albums by Pino Daniele (from 1995 to 2009, excluding "Medina" from 2001) from the least unbearable to the pinnacle of absolute diarrhea.

N°4: "Dimmi cosa succede sulla terra" (1997)
Two years after the beginning of the end with "Non calpestare i fiori nel deserto," Pinazzo returns with this new album, mainly remembered for the masterpiece "che male c'èèèèèè, che c'èddi maleeeeee." Although it still has some worthy musical foundations (even if not all the tracks), the songs themselves are embarrassing, ALL OF THEM! There's nothing to save, nothing, unlike the previous one which at least had a couple of good moments.

The masterpiece of the album: Continueremo a navigare (2017 Remaster)

Picking up on the brilliant idea from @[Alemarcon] to revisit the brilliant idea from @[Martello], I allow myself to make, as an additional kick in the... erm, preview of the columns that will start in a week, a ranking of the worst albums by Pino Daniele (from 1995 to 2009 and excluding "Medina" from 2001) from the least unbearable to the absolute diarrhea peak.

N°5: "Electric jam" (2009)
I’m not saying anything... I’m not saying anything... I’M NOT SAYING ANYTHING. I'll just leave you with the review from @primiballi: Electric Jam - Pino Daniele - recensione

The masterpiece of the album: Il sole dentro di me

Picking up on the brilliant idea of @[Alemarcon] to revisit the brilliant idea of @[Martello], I would like to make, as an additional kick in the... erm, preview of the columns that will start in a week, a ranking of the worst albums by Pino Daniele (from 1995 to 2009 and excluding "Medina" from 2001) from the least unbearable to the peak of absolute diarrhea.

N°6: "Il mio nome è Pino Daniele e vivo qui" (2007)
After two albums that were as pretentious as they were disastrous, Pino attempts again to change direction, even reuniting the band from "Vai mo'." Yes! Finally, Pino will return, after a long time, to make a decent album! Poor deluded souls... besides the fact that this reunion ended with a horrific concert, the album is ultimately no better than the previous ones. Perhaps there are still some decent melodies, but by now the writing, the voice, and the technique have completely gone to hell...

The masterpiece of the album: Rhum and Coca

Crozza De Luca "Ad Allouin chiudiamo tutto"
I've never disliked Crozza, but in this case, I find the original funnier, as it's become a parody of itself...

@[Martello] We just need someone who has the vinyl and we have the complete package.

Picking up the brilliant idea of @[Alemarcon] to revisit the brilliant idea of @[Martello], I would like to present, as a further kick in the balls... uh, I mean a preview of the columns that will start in a week, a ranking of the worst albums by Pino Daniele (from 1995 to 2009, excluding "Medina" from 2001) from the least unbearable to the peak of absolute diarrhea.

No. 7: "Non calpestare i fiori nel deserto" (1995)
Two years after the still decent "Che Dio ti benedica," here comes the album of disgrace. There are a few semi-decent tracks ("'O cammello 'nnamurato," "Oasi") still left, but the problem is that, in this case, the crap overshadows the little that is saved: songs like "Bambina," "Se mi vuoi" (with Irene Grandi), "Resta cu'mme," and that annoying piece of shit "Io per lei" deserve a "worst of."
