#MY2018 °°°° Todd Tobias & Chloe March - Amialluma Album Teaser
I'm in love with this work, with the mystery that its music emanates, that indefinable beauty of it.
It's not experimental music; it’s all very simple. Guitar, synth, and one voice. I go back a few years, diving into the universe of "Victorialand" by Cocteau Twins. Shadows, lace, elusive guitars, and a voice that paints vocal signals without using words. Magic, fantasy, and the desire to dream. Highly recommended. The video is a medley of tracks from the album, just to give you an idea.

#ONTHESHELF °°°° Peter Gabriel The Rhythm Of The Heat Security
I do not love Peter Gabriel.
I was really young when I received the notes of this album. How could one not be enchanted by this piece, I believe the opener? Opener, key word, perhaps my key to a New World. The tribal spirit and its sorcerer captivated me. In my imagination, still unscathed by images unfortunately carved out for us, this piece was a jungle of sounds, they called it live percussion, searching for Him who answered the call with a paternal scream cradled by a sweetly mysterious, slightly unsettling lullaby, a caress. Yet I still do not love him.

#ONTHESHELF °°°° Amazing Blondel Fantasia Lindum
Although I consider myself a connoisseur of English folk in its many tentacled forms, this record makes me uneasy. The cover is quite a statement, and the music is a form of folk, I suppose (I keep pretending) very much in line with the music played at court, a court with elephant feet, long hair, tiny glasses, and a few spliffs. We’re talking about folk prog (I continue to pretend to know) strange in its normality if only the pendulum on the wall had stopped a few centuries ago. Evocative, and after the first approach, I find it very interesting in its phrases of flutes, harmonium, oboe, mellotron, percussion, and sweet vocals. A nice stroll through "The Court of His Highness Pirulin De Pirulan."

Walled Garden Wumme.
I didn’t understand when Stereolab were often perceived as a reincarnation of the Kraut soul in pop-cut songs. In these Wumme the answer is quite evident, and after a big ? I’ve slowly come to an unsettling ! A work that, in my opinion, deserves attention. A continuous "Works In Progress", thankfully for us. Otherwise, the Krauts would be stinking by now. If any soul tries it, I’d like to hear their opinion, just to see if I still operate.
