ALAN'S PSYCHEDELIC BREAKFAST - PINK FLOYD
I don't remember when I first listened to this piece; I was in that period when I still couldn't form my own opinion, too loud were the voices of the "Greats". So many exotic names mentioned in magazines, it was a time when pages were still being turned. I was curious, I jotted down names, albums, and tried to listen to those titles; during that period, people were still searching for the "Right" ones to hear certain things. I was curious, many titles I heard, time has passed, and I have changed too. Sometimes it comes to mind to listen to the track; of course, many names were mentioned casually, and I can understand that. After so many years, so many opinions, so much music, there is one thing I have not been able to understand—the most important one. It doesn’t really matter, though; I’ll think about it next time with a few more years under my belt.

O. Messiaen: Le Banquet celeste (O. Messiaen)
if I had heard this piece on some obscure ambient/Dark/Drone record I would have flipped out, but I know this gentleman from a distance, and those two things I heard are wonderful.

Rustin Man - Vanishing Heart (Official Video)
here's a person who takes life very easy, before doing something they think about it for a few years, but in the end, it's better for us because we have plenty of time to enjoy their work.

Dmitri Shostakovich - Romance (from The Gadfly)
until a short while ago a perfect stranger, I discovered beautiful music pages

III (with Peter Broderick)
The machines of the Dutch Machinefabriek with the borrowed voices become an enchanting unified body. Surprisingly human or almost. Among my sure listens to remember in this 2019.

Laibach - The Sound of Music (Official Video)
with this historical name, the concept of Pop should be taken with a pinch of salt.
you listen to two different records and in between is the ocean
highly conceptual works that often deviate from the music coming out of the stereo
"Sound OF Music" is also a pleasant work and I haven't delved into the concepts that drive these songs, perhaps the most "Song" thing they've drawn out.

High Tide - The Flood
Honestly, I don't have much information; I suppose it's a collection of unreleased tracks because the songs date from 1970 to 78. Anyway, let's not talk about a commercial operation; they weren't even acknowledged in their time, let alone today, and it's not the usual scraping the bottom of the barrel because it contains worthy instrumental/sung pieces.

A band that deserved much more than the status of Cult Band. Their historic albums were a storm. I would definitely recommend them without hesitation to the grandchildren who giggle while rummaging through the artworks of album covers. I envy them for having a taste now almost lost in listening to a new album.

Franco Battiato - Nel cantiere di un'infanzia - Clic
I prefer Battiato in a more sober style; for example, in this album "Il Mercante degli Dei," everything is very beautiful and not too dated. Then that pounding, cosmic synth kicks in (I have no idea if it's actually a synth or some other trick), which today, given the album, makes everything feel less personal, losing some of its charm. What I mean is that in his past works he tended to add too much.
