Charles Mingus - Moanin' I know.. I posted it already.. but I really like it..

Camel - „Song Within a Song" (HQ) you made me want...@mrbluesky

Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers - Moanin' the same piece ..moanin, but another version, less "nervous" and incisive but still of great depth, certainly in this version the continuous overlapping of the brass is much less pronounced.... different..here...

Charles Mingus - Moanin' perhaps talking about counterpoint in jazz is misleading and out of place..but here you can listen to a kind of "organized contrapuntal chaos" instruments overlapping, chasing each other, doubling, and all with a finesse of execution from true giants..a delight for the ears...and the spirit!

John Coltrane - Blue train it may be cliché, but this piece is a manifesto of greatness...

Duke Ellington & John Coltrane - In a sentimental mood guys...this is amazing! ...a stunning duet between two "monsters"

My Favorite Things - John Coltrane [FULL VERSION] HQ What is genius? It's intuition, presence of mind, it's talent squared... listen to what a genius makes of a trivial FM radio song...

" Autumn Leaves " Chet Baker - Paul Desmond I didn't know this version of "Les Feuilles Mortes"... I was fascinated by the Davis/Coltrane version, but this is perhaps even better, a Chet Baker that deserves a standing ovation...

YouTube video non trovato gHvVN8yzQsYa I haven't posted the entire piece, and even so, just the first movement, it makes me think that you might send me packing, in friendship, but you'll send me...

DEAD CAN DANCE - PERSEPHONE dedicated to @[il Conte] ..Persephone was the wife of Hades, king of the underworld, may it bring you comfort,

LOW FLYING AIRCRAFT 1987 [full album] unknown to most... but this album is a must-listen... the crimson king in a jazz sauce...

Chillum - Celebration (1971) HQ it is said that this LP was recorded under hallucinogenic effects... could it be true?
