I really admired him when he put that inflated balloon Vittorio Sgarbi in his place. Otherwise, he was good and professional, even if he occasionally fell into some nonsense (with Vasco Rossi "you know that Vasco Rossi's albums are all recorded live?")

Gialappa's Band

It is undoubtedly true that after so many years of activity, they can get a bit tiring, yet they remain brilliant and why not, innovative as well. Some sketches from their shows (e.g. "Sensualità a corte") are pure genius.

Let's forget about the '60s revivals, which were charming at first but then became tiresome; his solo albums were fascinating, original, and far from predictable, especially "Superivan" and "Urlo." And if he had avoided the antics from Big Brother, it would have definitely been for the best.
