never a glossy tearjerker ballad, never a silly synthesizer or keyboard replacing the guitars. Among the few who navigated the entire eighties without falling into those traps. They are not repetitive, they are consistent, that's different. Perhaps they should have retired twenty years ago, but as far as I'm concerned, with all the great albums of pure rock they've made, they have earned the sacred right to keep pissing people off for as long as they damn well please.
