The first two albums weren't bad. Especially the second one, I found it pretty cool. They are a bit pretentious, though, passable. A thousand times better people like them, Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, The Reatards, etc., than those posers The Strokes...

The first two albums ("Tatay" and "Bwyd Time") drive me crazy with love. Subsequently, they will tone down psychedelic craziness and lo-fi delusions to normalize into a rather mundane Folk Rock with "California '60s" hues, which is not exciting for me at all. Hats off to the first two works.

I've always preferred A Perfect Circle to Tool. Thirteen Step remains an incredible album.

I love "Maximum Rocknroll" and that's it. Together with "Milo goes to College" by the Descendents, one of the most absurd and fun Punk records I own. The rest, for me, is just fluff.

I consider these shredders not so much musicians or composers; it's difficult for me to associate the art of music with a finger gymnast. Their guitar technique would be excellent as rehabilitation for the hand following a loss of function due to a stroke. Gymnasts of the 5 fingers. I'm just wanking off...

Impale them from the ass

It gives me hives. Always has. No offense to the "Fans." I kinda like the debut, Boy. Then, I'll just gloss over the rest... that's my personal opinion, of course. And then, Bono, with all those humanitarian antics... meh! Well, at least The Edge's brother played in the Virgin Prunes, now that's a band with some real substance.

The Notorious Byrd Brothers was and remains a masterpiece of acid Folk Rock, their pinnacle, a solid 5. Compared to their other works, which I consider inferior, although still good. So, 4.

He has made amazing albums (Electro-Shock Blues above all, beautiful)..but beware, if you listen to it during an already dark period, it can lead to suicide :)

It started strong with three works of increasing quality (Maxinquaye, Nearly God, and his masterpiece Pre-Millennium Tension). He could have stopped there. Then, the process would be reversed...
