What can I say? Little. Nothing. Yet I felt a bit of annoyance when some know-it-all music critic claimed he "was too good." So, a guitar specialist that's hard to digest. Well.....RIP Allan.

Immense admiration for this multi-instrumentalist. The backbone of L.Z..

Musician I am particularly attached to. I met him in person, and he is a very approachable person.

Even today, especially those from the Fish era, I can't quite process them. Maybe I'm just too...snobbish!

When I first listened to this record, I thought it was great (it was 1989, I believe). Today......I don't know. What do you think?

These days I'm re-listening to Quadrophenia: oh my goodness, it's beautiful!!!!!!!!!

How cool is the sound of Roxy Music (including the post-Eno stuff). His solo career might have a bit too much shadow. If he had stopped at La Bete Noir, it might have been better. Lately, he seems more trapped by record contracts that force him to churn out overly orchestral albums (Olympia aside), which feel a bit anachronistic. p.s.: Dylanesque, maybe he could have skipped that. Though he's always good.

From what I've heard, he seems like a good guitarist. What do you think?
