He was my idol. A remarkable singer, with a unique comic and creative flair, a bizarre and often brilliant irony. Seeing him now on TV, wasting grand words and immense comparisons on despicable glossy little singers makes me feel pity. And it infuriates me his absolute defense of Nevruz, yet another pointless and revolting regurgitation of the music industry. Horrible.
