In the days of Mai Dire Gol, Berlusconi's money certainly wasn't a turn-off for him. Back then, his characters did make people laugh. Who knows if he was already stealing jokes in the days of Mai Dire Gol... A pathetic, hypocritical, inconsistent, and opportunistic character; that’s why he had (has) so much success in Italy.

Active on stage and TV, he became widely known for the RAI program Satyricon and later for Decameron on La7. In 2005 he released the English-sung album Money for Dope with jazz/swing influences.
