Eco del Baratro

L’Eco del Baratro comes from Pieve di Bono (TN) and consists of Stefano (guitar and vocals), Francesco (bass and vocals) and Dennis (drums). After several years playing covers and after a lineup change, the three started composing their own songs. Influenced by various types of rock, they write songs collaboratively that recall alternative, post-hardcore, American noise. Guitar and bass follow different lines over a often obsessive, almost danceable rhythm, and each of the two singers performs their own lyrics, happily ignoring the other’s.

Last 2011 saw the release of Caro Estinto, their self-produced debut album that contains in ten tracks an initial journey of research, work and experimentation. Currently the band is writing new songs that will partly be featured in an upcoming EP and promise an even more powerful and mature sound.
