I explain my rating criteria: I prefer the system in tenths, so I write the most accurate score in the review rather than using the site's dots system, moreover:
1-3.5: the record has neither technical nor artistic value and there is nothing that can make it attractive from any point of view, but with different gradations depending on whether it is a 1 or a 3.5!;
4-4.5: insufficient record but worthy of "effort" recognition or because maybe it has a decent song;
5-5.5: mediocre record but with more than one good track;
6-6.5: full pass, it is certainly not an epic record but pleasant with various good ideas;
7-7.5: good record, not a masterpiece but still recommended;
8: great record, many nice tracks;
8.5-9: masterpiece;
9.5-10: perfection.
However, since I have never heard a perfect record so far, it is a rating I do not give.
I generally do not take the work and the author I review out of context, therefore I do not make comparisons between groups of different genres. At most, sometimes I might compare authors of similar genres. Exceptions are records scoring 9 and above, which, according to my very personal evaluation, can be considered comparable to records that might be very different but that I consider of the same artistic value.
