"the MILLIONS of Jews (and not just Jews) burned alive, BURNED ALIVE"... but weren't they killed with gas and then cremated as dead?
György Ligeti Continuum / 10 Pezzi / Artikulation / Glissandi / 2 Studi / Volumina
Voto:
Like many laypeople, my first encounters with Ligeti's music came from Kubrick's films: 2001 ("Requiem," "Dies Irae," "Lux Aeterna"), Shining ("Lontano"), and Eyes Wide Shut ("Mesto rigido e cerimoniale"), and I was quite fascinated by it; gradually I'm deepening my understanding. I found "Artikulation" (complete with its graphic representation) to be a composition that only a superior mind could conceive. Now I will listen to this very interesting anthology and the "Works for Piano," which include the "Etudes pour piano" and "Musica Ricercata." Then I'll try to find the 4CD box set "Clear and Cloudy"; does anyone know if it's worth it?

You said, "the only one who had a superb Champions," in my opinion, eliminating Chelsea is something superb; at the time of the draw, everyone considered Inter doomed.

The frantic changes in framing and the use of zoom during action scenes (for example, when Mapachi "tests" the machine gun, or when Thornton says "if he’s not dead then there’s a gun pointed at us" or in the moment of Angel’s killing) are legendary in cinema; the performances of the actors, but more broadly the entire film, is clearly above average for the genre, including the psychological analysis of the characters.
Ethan e Joel Coen A Serious Man

As soon as I saw it, I would say for the umpteenth time that the Coen brothers hit the mark yet again; this must be at least the tenth film by Joel and Ethan that has positively struck me, the third in a row. Here the message remains the same as in "No Country for Old Men" (showing the inevitability of events, no matter how absurd and unjust they may be), but with a more ironic twist, even though the drama is obviously not lacking. As is typical of their style, the Coens populate the film with secondary characters, some outlandish and incredibly original, others excessively stereotypical (the neighbor who goes hunting with his son), which is probably their trademark and the main reason I appreciate their work. The dream sequences are excellent, as is the encounter with the neighbor. The story of the Jewish dentist set to the music of Hendrix is brilliant. The rating would be a bit above 4, but I'm in the mood to be generous.

one of the best "black comedies" I have ever seen, characters are wonderfully crafted, especially Ivan's. The story is cruel, stark, and ruthless. The review made me eager to watch it, so it fully achieves its purpose. Knowing whether the director is 23 or 33 years old doesn’t really change my life.

These are wild, sweat-soaked, amphetamine-fueled crazies; the record is nitroglycerin. Try listening to "Dyna-soar," "Rattlesnake," or "Koei" at full volume.
