However, if all you're looking for in music is something that makes you unleash your primal instincts and "mosh against the wall," let me tell you, you are at least limited.
Oh, another thing I've never understood (having attended various metal festivals both in Italy and across Europe) is why a good portion of Italian "metalheads," while watching a concert, always feel the need to get wild by throwing themselves against each other, whereas in Germany or Austria, the audience more often tends to calmly enjoy the concert, also because the music is the most important aspect (something that our compatriots seem to have missed...).

p.s.: how can it have a lullaby effect on you, for example "deliverance"?!

Clearly, Cronos, father of Zeus, for you technique is everything; for me, if it is not used for noteworthy compositional purposes, it’s absolutely useless. And anyway, going to two thousand on the double pedal and smashing the toms doesn’t mean being technical, since my idea of technique presupposes playing an instrument well, with taste, and in harmony with the other instruments. Finally, to refer to Opeth as a little group means either that you don’t know them, or that you don’t understand a damn thing about music; that you might say you don't like them is another story, but questioning their technique first and then their compositional genius is ridiculous!

Sorry Fear, I expressed my opinion about it, what's wrong with that? I didn't offend anyone unlike you...

Unfortunately, I just can’t understand Brutal. I don’t see what’s beautiful about hearing a noise similar to a locomotive falling into a mega-blender. The guitar riffs are indistinguishable from one another, the singer makes sounds quite similar to those coming from my sink when I flush it; then, the drummer in these bands typically doesn’t create original rhythmic solutions, but just pounds away breathlessly, spasmodically repeating clichés of the genre. This type of music might be fine for some clueless fifteen-year-old kid who’s just acting foolish, moshing without knowing a damn thing about music, but totally hyped up by the devastation he hears. Just by comparing these Spanish guys, for instance, to Opeth (to stay within the realm of heavy metal), one realizes the quality musical abyss between the two. Well, maybe it’s just me not getting it...

But have you been in a coma until today and just woke up?
The Tangent A Place In The Queue
Voto:
No, it's precisely the third album by Tangent. The first one was "The Music That Died Alone" and the second "The World We Drive Through." All three are phenomenal.

Well done, you've truly captured the spirit of this magnificent album! "Carry on Wayward Son" alone is worth a 5.

An album to be appreciated especially for the guitar work of the great Eddie. I prefer the first two albums, but there are still excellent moments here. A review that doesn't describe the record.

Misogyny? AXL, you talk about it as if it were a great quality for a human being...oh well...
