Pink Floyd Meddle
Voto:
Clichéd quotes stacked one on top of another with little creativity. I prefer reviews that talk about the album, perhaps with subjective impressions, but with at least some informative intent. And anyway, there were already 5 on "Meddle," the sixth one wasn't really necessary. As for the album, well, the title track speaks for itself, and not just that one; it's my favorite by Pink after Atom Earth Mother.
Gregor Samsa Rest
Voto:
Nice review, I also only listened to "55:12" and found it very good, the classic post-rock work with melancholic and reflective moods, almost Slow-Core at times. If you say that this "Rest" is even calmer and more expansive, I would say it could serve as a lullaby given the predecessor. It's an interesting proposal nonetheless.
Neil Young Tonight's The Night
Voto:
Another grand peak of Neil...underrated and to be enjoyed until the last note.
Premiata Forneria Marconi Photos Of Ghosts
Voto:
River of life is glorious in its magnificence. I reiterate the 5.
Comus First Utterance
Voto:
What unique atmospheres in this masterpiece...The Herald is paradise...the brilliance of the folk-prog reinterpretation.
Tangerine Dream Zeit
Voto:
This is the prime example of the greatness that Tangerine Dream have managed to create. One of their earliest albums and perhaps the epitome of the glorious early period of these pioneers of electronic music and great masters of hyper-spatial psychedelic atmosphere. A work to lose oneself in the endless void between the galaxies.
King's X Dogman
Voto:
A good album without high expectations, aiming to make hard rock a slightly less predictable formula while still remaining within typical parameters. The guitarist is, despite being among the conservative musicians, a delightful entertainer and a skilled composer.
Stars Of The Lid And Their Refinement Of The Decline
Voto:
The project Stars of the Lid is, I believe, one of the most satisfying for me on the ambient side in the new millennium. Their unrivaled masterpiece, I think, is "The Tired Sounds of Stars of The Lid," a stunning concentrate of slowly released emotions. This album also encourages one to wander freely with the mind in the infinite spaces of the cosmos, albeit in a slightly more standardized manner compared to the previous one.
Ridley Scott Alien
Voto:
As far as I'm concerned, a masterpiece of anguish and the terror of the unknown... the quintessential science fiction film, with a highly evocative soundtrack.
Supreme Dicks The Emotional Plague
Voto:
I will never tire of saying that Emotional Plague is one of the most inspired watercolor-like psychedelia that the human ear could ever have the chance to experience; an almost supernatural experience. Here lies the genius! Indescribable and unpredictable. The boundary between reality and dream blurs on the horizon...
