This is one of my favorite metal albums from recent years. Eclectic, wicked, evocative of nightmares, ancient curses, mythological characters, surprisingly never banal. By the way, I've seen them live as well, and they really deliver.

A group of skilled session musicians playing sterile and aseptic songs like no other. Americans liked and still like these reassuring AOR sounds, see Kansas, Journey, Boston, etc. Personally, I find them perfect for background music in shopping mall elevators. A review that says nothing, but then again, there isn’t much to say about these records...

Chinaski, I also have disabled relatives, and that's why I find it disgusting to use certain terms. End of discussion. And what the hell does the Roman salute have to do with it? Respect is always necessary. And it is precisely because we must have respect for the memory that we must condemn those who glorify fascism or similar nonsense. Respect is not overrated; in my opinion, it is non-existent in this country. And if you listen carefully, even Pino Scotto tells you so.

I'm not at all naive; it just bothers me that certain terms are used carelessly. Do you use these words even when you're in the presence of people with Down syndrome? Or do you hold back there because it's easier to be hypocritically respectful around them?

This is one of the few Coen brothers films I haven't seen yet... I have to say that so far every single movie of theirs has always pleased me a lot: "The Big Lebowski," "Fargo," "Barton Fink," "The Man Who Wasn't There," "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and even the latest, "No Country for Old Men." They seem to hit the mark every time... Good review.

Spastic, handicapped, mongoloid, brain-injured... those who do not understand what respect for others' misfortunes means use these terms as if they were insults, when in fact they refer to serious and painful conditions of people who, despite their suffering, have the same dignity as any human being and deserve the same respect.
Brian Eno Before And After Science

In this phase of Eno, I prefer "Another Green World," even though there are still great tracks on this one. The review is beautiful and intense.

Using the word "spastic" as an insult is synonymous with deep ignorance and vulgarity; a little respect for the sick, please.

@47: Sorry to interrupt, but you said "I didn't mean to attack you" to Lux, when in comment 108 you were just missing saying "your mom is a whore" for it to be complete... well, maybe it's just my impression...

In addition, there are "Shine on you crazy Diamond," "A Saucerful of Secrets," and "Dogs," but for me, the best remains "Atom Heart Mother."
