Anyway Sid, call me a snobby salt statue if you want, but I’m watching the concert and enjoying it moment by moment, while the brainless idiots are so busy fighting among themselves like animals that they don’t even notice what’s happening on stage.

Sid, the problem is precisely that, because often those who mosh end up bothering those who don’t want to. I don’t think it’s fair that if someone wants to be up front at concerts, they have to be forced to stand among a bunch of goats who are fighting.

Instead, yes, he always went to listen to the Survivor and at the moment of Eye of the Tiger, off he went with the pogo and punches here and there! ;D

I always hit those who annoy me at concerts too! Wait... no, that was Rocky...

Yes, yes, of course... fantastic, especially when you’re enjoying the song and suddenly you’re bombarded from above, almost like a parachutist, by a sweaty, stinking humanoid who buries you under their weight and dislocates your shoulder... beautiful! Hardrock, I don’t know if you’ve ever been in the hot zones of certain concerts, but there’s absolutely nothing moderate about it.

Sorry, but for you at concerts, the alternatives are either standing still like a statue or shoving each other to death?? I really enjoyed the concert, I wasn’t standing still, I got into the rhythm as one normally would, but from that to throwing yourself at strangers to break their ribs is quite a leap, I’d say... there’s a difference between "moving" and "acting like idiots," if you know what I mean. And don’t come to me saying it's normal, because I've been abroad to various big festivals and rock and metal concerts, and even if you're pretty close to the stage, there aren’t major problems with idiots trying to kill each other. Meanwhile, in Italy, when I've been in the front rows of rock-metal concerts, I came home with bruises and without having enjoyed a single note.

But then I’d like to understand... what’s the point of moshing? Want to blow off some steam? Go unload tiles from trucks for 6-7 hours and you’ll see that by the evening you’ll have calmed down... if there’s a concert, music is expected, and if there’s music, there are people who want to listen to it and appreciate it live, not idiots who act like fools... and yet, as if by magic, the percentage of morons at concerts increases. There are those who go to the stadium with clubs, and there are those who go to concerts to mosh. All very beautiful and Italian, especially.

Eh... of course, one really enjoys a concert when getting shoved around, elbowed, and hit all over the body. I don't understand if people go to a concert for the music or to act like idiots... who knows... luckily I watched it from the stands and was able to enjoy the show peacefully.

Well, honestly I care very little about media symbols... I mean, the Stones are the iconic rock band in the eyes of the masses, along with Led Zeppelin and Hendrix, I believe... there's no arguing about that, it's obvious. If by importance you mean popularity and relevance in the common sentiment (that of the masses), then I completely agree with you. When I talk about importance, I mean other things... I mean the ability to create new languages or at least to rework existing languages in an original way, as well as the influence on subsequent generations (in terms of innovation, not media impact). And with that, I don't want to say that the Stones haven't done anything in this regard, eh... but in my view, they are not the most important from this perspective. I don't know if you understand what I'm trying to say...

The assholes who give a 1 without listening are just as bad as the assholes who give a 5 after listening to mediocre, clichéd music that also features obvious plagiarism. See post 5.
