Show!! 5 full stars! In the first season, there are several classic episodes such as "Tempo di leggere," "Quando il cielo fu aperto," "Solitudine," "L'altro posto," "Immagine allo specchio," "La clausola"... etc...

Hi jurix, sorry but no matter how hard I try, I can't consider Vasco an artist... for me his importance in the history of rock is zero and the fact that he is regarded as the non plus ultra only highlights the misery of Italian culture in my eyes. The photo I posted isn’t mine, but I'm glad you like it :)

There's a scandalous commercial for Sanremo on TV reminding us that Vasco placed second to last in '83 with "Vita Spericolata" and then, 20 years later, drew 80,000 people to San Siro. Jesus! 80,000 people! He must be really talented, this Vasco! Please! If someone asked me to name the artist who epitomizes mediocrity in rock, it would be Vasco Rossi... this is the culture of our little Italy... the one that considers a music icon someone who creates songs of such stunning banality both musically and lyrically. I often hear people say that Vasco is one of the cornerstones of rock music... but what a load of crap! He might be a cornerstone for idiots who have never listened to anything in their lives and nonetheless would never have the sensitivity to understand anything about art. How disgusting!

I hadn't come across a proper thrash metal album in a while. Really excellent!

I absolutely disagree that this is an album to listen to for broadening one's musical mind; on the contrary, it closes it! I've been playing the guitar for several years, and I used to be crazy about it. It is undoubtedly an excellent album if the goal is solely to appreciate the improvisational aspect for its own sake...but nothing more. Great craftsmanship, but far from art.
George Harrison All Things Must Pass
Voto:
One of the albums most plundered by the Gallagher brothers, both for its compositional structure and for certain arrangements (compare, for example, "All around the world" with "Isn't it a pity"...). Nevertheless, it's an album with diverse influences (country and pop-rock above all), which still maintains a consistently British sound and attitude. "Run of the Mill" sounds like it came from McCartney's pen. "Beware of Darkness" is truly a great piece, rising above much of the album; there are pleasant fillers ("Wah Wah") and others that are decidedly less so ("Apple Scruffs"), well-executed ballads ("All things must pass") and others that are avoidable ("Ballad Of Sir Frankie Crisp"). "Art of Dying" vaguely recalls "Savoy Truffle," while if the second version of "Isn't it a pity" doesn't take you back to the ending of "Dark side of the moon," then you're deaf... :D All in all, an album that for me doesn't quite reach 5 stars, but definitely deserves 4... an excellent review when discussing the album, a bit meandering when it focuses on the life of good old George.

Oh well, if keeping the length of the pieces over 10 minutes is an artistic merit in itself... damn, there's always someone who makes you crack up...
