What a masterpiece. The editing of this film is something remarkable.

for me the best movie of 2015
Nanni Moretti Bianca (1984)

The trilogy "Sogni D'Oro," "Bianca," and "La Messa è finita" represents, in my opinion, the pinnacle of Italian cinema of the 1980s, alongside "Borotalco" and "Compagni di Scuola" by Verdone, "Ricomincio da Tre" by Troisi, "Regalo di Natale" by Avati, and "Il Marchese del Grillo" by Monicelli.

Revisited on Blu-ray after 6 years. Still a fantastic thriller, with outstanding performances and cinematography by Roger Deakins that is literally breathtaking.
Rob Reiner This is Spinal Tap

I remember, among the thousands of cult scenes, the one where Nigel is playing a very delicate and soft piece on the piano, claiming to be inspired by Mozart and Bach; then the director sitting next to him asks with interest, "Oh, and what's it called?" The answer: "Lick my love pump!". But there are truly countless possible references from this marvelous film.

Especially in the deluxe version that documents the complete concert of that mythological tour, with Tommy performed in its entirety, I think it's the best live album in the history of rock. The only ones that come close, as far as I'm concerned, are "Made in Japan" by the Purple, "Band of Gypsys" by Hendrix, and "Live Rust" by Uncle Neil.
Luchino Visconti Rocco e i suoi fratelli
Voto:
A colossal film that could inspire entire treatises for the moral and social themes it addresses. Then there are characters beautifully written and interpreted, impressive direction, and an excellent soundtrack by Nino Rota, as always. One of the great snapshots of Italy in the last century, with a crescendo of intensity that reaches its peak in the tragic finale. In 1960, in just one year, Italian cinema gifted humanity with "La Dolce Vita," "Rocco e i suoi fratelli," and "L'avventura." Truly a golden age.

One of the top 3-4 films of 2019, a huge improvement over the previous Good Time, which honestly didn’t convince me at all. The ending is quite a punch to the stomach.
Edgar Wright L'Alba Dei Morti Dementi (Shaun of the Dead)

I confirm that there are some very funny scenes, however, it doesn't seem to me like anything so exceptional as it's praised.
Kathryn Bigelow Strange Days

Revisited after years and it keeps getting better with every viewing, it’s like a good wine. A masterpiece of 90s dystopian science fiction. Stunning chaotic urban settings, a fast pace, magnificent actors, brilliant and completely mad direction but in a good way. 2 hours and 20 minutes that feel like 40 minutes.
