Great review! Really well done! However, the album doesn't deserve that much! I somewhat share your opinion about the various "The Kill" and "From Yesterday"; calling them innovative might be a bit much, but they are great songs. Still, the album is not homogeneous and features some mediocre tracks...3 on average.

Listened to it, not bad at all, "Surrender" is my favorite track, I honestly didn't know them, this is a nice CD.

Let's say I'll raise your grade for the good recovery... anyway, the album seems quite pleasant to me, and perhaps it conveys the idea of what the MCR truly are (or were), an interesting record, even though at times the punk/emo/dark/noise components blend a bit too much together, still a nice surprise, well done Tobby! PS: I like The Black Parade, even though it's a bit too modern emo and somewhat predictable, I prefer it to this album.
